Directors of Sport EOI
School Sport Professionals is exploring the potential establishment of a dedicated Directors of Sport Network to support those leading and shaping sport within individual schools across Australia. As the role of Director of Sport continues to expand in complexity, encompassing leadership, participation strategy, risk management and whole-school culture, SSP recognises the growing need for a national professional community specifically designed for school sport leaders. Pending interest from professionals across the country, this initiative aims to create a collaborative peer network focused on leadership connection, shared practice and collaborative learning, ensuring Directors of Sport are supported, connected and professionally represented within the evolving landscape of school sport.
To explore the viability of developing this network within the existing framework of School Sport Professionals, you are invited to complete the expression of interest form below and join in a discovery session on Tuesday March 31st, 4:30pm (AEDT). The session will provide a brief introduction to School Sport Professionals, followed by an interactive discussion on current issues facing Directors of Sport and exploration of a potential new national network under the School Sport Professionals umbrella. Respondents will be sent a Teams meeting link along with additional details for consideration ahead of the online session.
